Review: Saga, Volume 1

Saga, Volume 1
Saga, Volume 1 by Brian K. Vaughan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Definitely a different type of read, and in some ways one of the strangest stories I have ever read. I am not a huge fan of the artwork, but it isn’t bad enough to keep me from reading. The story itself…has to be read to be believed. Vaughan keeps tinkering with his style, and his storytelling skills continue to grow. This particular story is a bit cruder than most of his prior work, but it does not read as gratuitous as is so often the case with other writers. Definitely looking forward to future volumes.
